EXHIBITION / EMOTIONAL PAINTING: A MODERN PERSPECTIVE, Shanghai

The idea of working on these fashion series in our solo exhibition is to condemn our lifestyle of sameness or repetition. Hence, the process of creating these live illustrations is all about being able to explore, experience, or exercise particular ideas, themes, issues, compositions, collections, or topics in a live progression pursuing depth and meaning from a great variety of perspectives of designer collections. Through emotional painting, Yvan Deng created a new way to express views of fashion collections, a different way to get inspired and create artwork from a designer’s emotional inspiration.
The closer you look, the more you will see, and the more fascinating your explorations about these series will get. 
We chose the series of live illustrations, ceramics, and fans because we want to show the audience how LABELHOOD brings together art, design, and fashion - we believe by choosing some of the feature designers by LABELHOOD we will be able to make a strong interaction and bring artists together.
